Warning To All Travellers

Knowing what I do now, I wish I’d have read a post about medical insurance abroad sooner. But no, instead I was bogged down with work and looking at bad credit credit cards and monitoring who was eligible for even more credit. Had I researched medical insurance properly before I went to Spain, I am sure I’d be a lot better off now.

I was just walking down one of those typically bumpy Spanish streets when the accident happened. I was fine one moment, then the next thing I knew I was on the ground with a rather large bone sticking out of my shin. I remember laughing because it looked comical. Always read the contract you have with your health insurer is what I am saying. It may seem trivial while you’re all excited and thinking it can’t happen to me, but believe me it won’t when you’re surrounded by Spaniards with a jagged white bone sticking out of your leg…
