Garlic for Yeast Infection

April 13th, 2011

I recent heard a friend of mine who visited me at home talk about having to have her only son do a hair drug test to see if he has been doing drug for a long time. It is so hard to believe almost like the fact that many women have yeast infection. For some reason I thought it was only me until I went to my doctor. He also suggested garlic as a natural remedy for yeast infection. So just in case you ladies don’t know here what you ought to know. We all have an yeast called “Candida Albicans” in various parts of our body, especially the mouth, vagina, anus and gut to name a few. This otherwise friendly fungus can often overgrow and cause severe infections signified by severe itching. There are a lot of natural remedies such as yoghurt, tea tree oil, boric acid, cranberry juice, Calendula and Camomile. The most effectively natural remedy is the use of garlic in treating these yeast infections. Garlic is readily available and it also provides instant relief to the sufferer. It is loaded with anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties which are the best enemies for yeast.

You can either buy garlic capsules from the pharmacy or use fresh garlic for this purpose. Fresh garlic can either be used orally or topically. For oral consumption, it is best if you first peel the garlic and then mince them using a knife. Next, take a glass of your favorite juice in one hand a teaspoon containing the minced garlic. Put the minced garlic in your mouth and gulp it down with your favorite drink! For topical usage simply put a freshly cut piece of the garlic in the yeast infected area and see the results immediately.
